The Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is a prestigious two-week summer academic program for high school students aged 16–18. Participants live on Yale’s campus, engage in world-class academic tracks, and connect with peers from over 150 countries. Each year, over $3 million USD is awarded in financial aid and scholarships to ensure accessibility.

Students choose from three academic tracks:
- Innovations in Science & Technology
- Politics of Law & Economics
- Solving Global Challenges

Pre-college summer academic and leadership program.

- High school students aged 16–18 by the program start date.
- Enrolled in high school (or equivalent) at the time of application.
- Students from all academic backgrounds with a strong interest in the program tracks.

Open to students from all countries worldwide, including U.S. states and territories.
Where will the Award be Taken?
At Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Students will reside at Benjamin Franklin and Pauli Murray Colleges on Yale’s campus.

Approximately 1,900 students are admitted annually out of 10,000+ applicants.
