The UBA Foundation National Essay Competition 2025 is an annual education initiative that promotes reading culture, intellectual growth, and healthy competition among Nigerian senior secondary school students. This year’s competition offers educational grants worth up to ₦18 million to winners who can study at any African university.

- Be Nigerian senior secondary school students
- Complete the online application form
- Submit a handwritten essay (maximum 750 words, not typed)
- Upload a recent passport photograph
- Upload a scanned copy of a valid Birth Certificate, National ID, or International Passport

- Stage 1: Call for entries – 12 best essays selected
- Stage 2: Final physical test – Winner, 1st Runner-up, and 2nd Runner-up announced
