Tech Policy Press is now accepting applications for its 2026 fellowship cohort.
Since its launch in 2023, the fellowship program has supported 15 fellows from seven countries across two cohorts, who have written on pressing topics such as the governance of artificial intelligence, tech regulation, digital rights, and the entanglement of state and corporate power.

Tell Me About The Award:
The Tech Policy Press Fellowship Program is a year-long, part-time remote fellowship designed to support independent reporting and analysis at the intersection of technology and democracy. Since its launch in 2023, the fellowship has supported fellows across seven countries to produce impactful work on AI governance, digital rights, tech regulation, and corporate-state power.
Selected fellows will receive financial support, editorial guidance, and access to an international network of peers while working on pressing public-interest issues.

- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and society
- Digital rights & privacy
- The role of tech in democracy and politics
- Media, disinformation, and online platforms
