Any one-year taught Master’s degree program offered at the University of Kent’s UK campuses. Applicants must apply to three different eligible UK university courses.

- Commit to returning to their country of citizenship for at least two years after the scholarship ends.
- Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to an upper second-class (2:1) honours degree, meeting the entry requirements for a one-year postgraduate program at Kent (varies by course; check Kent’s course pages or country-specific criteria).
- Have at least two years of work experience.
- Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and secure an unconditional offer from one by July 9, 2026.
- Be based in the UK during the scholarship.

The total number of awards varies annually. The University of Kent offers three partner scholarships in addition to standard Chevening Scholarships. In 2023-24, 9 Chevening Scholars studied at Kent.

- Select the University of Kent as the first preference in the Chevening application for consideration for Kent’s partner scholarships.
- Prepare required documents (e.g., transcripts, references, proof of work experience) as per Chevening guidelines.
- Note: Scholars cannot apply for a Graduate Route Visa and must return home for two years post-scholarship.
