Are you thinking of visiting the United States? You may not need a visa if you are a citizen of one of these countries.
For 2025, the US government has revised its Visa Waiver Program (VWP), allowing nationals of 42 nations to enter the country for up to 90 days without a visa. Millions of travelers could profit annually from the program, which covers travel for business, tourism, and transit.
The VWP is an established program that allows citizens of recognized nations to enter the country temporarily. Before departing, eligible travelers must, however, acquire authorization via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). US Customs and Border Protection oversees the automated ESTA system, which establishes a traveler’s eligibility for visa-free travel.
