The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) is a fully funded, highly competitive program that allows top international undergraduate students to participate in a 12-week summer research internship at leading Canadian universities. Interns work under the supervision of faculty members, gain hands-on research experience, and participate in professional development and cultural exchange activities.

All academic disciplines, including:
- Science

- Humanities
Type:
Internship (Fully Funded).
Who can Apply?
- Undergraduate students (or combined bachelor’s/master’s students).
- Aged 18+ at the time of application.
- Must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate study (or be in 2nd year during application).
- Must have 1–3 semesters remaining as of Fall 2026 (cannot graduate before October 2026).
- Strong academic record (competitive GPA).
- Must be fluent in English or French (depending on project).
- Must be available for 12 consecutive weeks between May 1 – October 31, 2026.
- Must not have participated in GRI before.
