A research assistantship is available to support an M.S. student in the Department of Biology at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. We are seeking candidates for the 2025 fall semester starting September 1st, 2025, to work on a funded research project investigating the movement of invasive carp throughout the Lower Wisconsin River. The graduate student will be responsible for developing a thesis that provides information about the large-scale movements and occupancy zone transition probabilities of acoustically tagged invasive carps in the region.
