The Global Sustainability Leaders Scholar at the University of Reading is an exciting new undergraduate scholarship scheme is focused on creating a community of global sustainability leaders of the future. It will be offering up to 400 scholarships per year (300 in 2025), for high-achieving students from the UK and overseas.
Each scholar will receive £6,000 a year, for up to four years of full-time study on their course (subject to terms and conditions), for maintenance and living costs.

Which Fields are Eligible?
🌍 All undergraduate programs at the University of Reading for the 2025/26 academic year.
Sustainability leadership is encouraged across all disciplines — not limited to environmental science.

Who Can Apply?
- UK and international fee-paying students
- Must hold an offer for an undergraduate program at Reading (starting in 2025/26)
- Must achieve AAA or above in A levels (or equivalent)
- Contextual offer students may qualify with AAB

Applicants will be invited by the university to apply based on:
- Meeting academic criteria (predicted or actual results)
- Holding an offer (or entering through Clearing)
- Completing the internal scholarship application process

- If you enter via Clearing or exceed your predicted grades, you may be invited to apply.
