The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP) is a pro-youth economic self-emancipation empowerment initiative whose aim is to facilitate and provide adequate economic engagement of youths for active economic participation, nation-building, economic development, de-radicalization, and national security. This aim is designed to be achieved by creating and nurturing the enabling economic platforms and opportunities needed by youths to be active participants in the economy and to contribute to social and economic development, as well as political stability and national security.

The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP) is a national socio-economic empowerment initiative launched to tackle Nigeria’s youth unemployment, poverty, and economic underutilization. It aims to engage youths in meaningful economic activities, foster entrepreneurship, and reduce radicalization by empowering young Nigerians to become productive members of society.
YEIDEP is anchored by the Youths Off The Street Initiative (YOTSI) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and the Nigerian Senate (10th Assembly) through its Committee on Sports Development.

Youth entrepreneurship and enterprise development, especially within the agricultural, food, and agro-allied sectors, as well as small and medium-scale enterprise (MSME) development.
