The TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMSS) is part of TotalEnergies’ commitment to supporting Nigeria’s educational development. It awards annual scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students in Nigerian universities, helping them overcome financial barriers and complete their studies.
Since 2003, over 39,000 students have benefitted from the scheme.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be in their 100 or 200 level in a Nigerian university
- Be enrolled full-time in an NUC-accredited institution
- Have scored at least 200 in UTME
- Possess a minimum 2.5 CGPA (on a 5.0 scale)
- Not be a beneficiary of any other oil & gas industry scholarship
