Who can Apply for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Initiative?

Any Nigerian citizen, regardless of educational background:

  • STC Programme (6 Months): No prior education required. Open to school leavers or individuals new to vocational training.
  • VEI Programme (1 Year): Applicants with prior informal education or certificates such as FSLC, NGO/community training, apprenticeship, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid NIN (National Identification Number)
  • Valid BVN (Bank Verification Number)

How are Applicants Selected?

Selection is based on:

  • Eligibility verification (NIN, BVN, age, documentation)
  • Completion of application steps on the official portal
  • Choice of training track and trade
  • Availability of slots in selected centers

Successful applicants will be notified and assigned to an accredited training center.
