Tell Me About The Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Fellowship:
The NGFP Fellowship offers a unique one-year journey of project support, collaboration, and learning in the field of futures and foresight. Fellows receive an initial USD 1,000 kick-started fund to develop their projects and are eligible for a USD 10,000 grand prize at the end of the year based on their significant contributions. The fellowship offers a platform to connect with global like-minded individuals, receive foresight capability building, and participate in events related to futures and foresight. Fellows are matched with project partners, often experienced foresight practitioners, to guide their work.

Who can Apply for the Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Fellowship?
The Foresight Fellowship is open to the following:
- Young professionals (18-35 years old) at the beginning of their futures and foresight journey, and those who are older with under one year of experience in futures and foresight.
- Looking to expand their futures & foresight knowledge and network.
- Committed to community and network building.
- Working on a brave, pioneering, futures-focused project idea for lasting change at the systems level in your communities or globally, and can be enhanced, scaled, and impact deepened by using foresight.
- Collaborative lifelong learners with a long-term vision for impact (at least 10 years ahead).
- From anywhere in the world, especially those anchored in Asia and Africa – including the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the Caribbean, Central and South America, the Pacific Islands, and the Balkans.
How are Applicants Selected?
Applicants are selected based on:
- A clear theory of change for how futures and foresight methods will impact their project.
- A commitment to community involvement and network building.
- A long-term vision (at least 10 years ahead) for creating lasting change.
- Projects should focus on using foresight methods to address issues like climate change, democracy, emerging technologies, etc
