Who can Apply for the MPOWER MBA Scholarship?
To be eligible, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be admitted to or enrolled in a full-time MBA program at a U.S. or Canadian school supported by MPOWER.
- Applicants must be international students with legal permission to study in the U.S. or Canada.
- For the U.S.: Applicants must have a valid visa that permits study or be protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
- For Canada: Applicants must have a valid Canadian study permit.
- U.S. and Canadian citizens are not eligible for this scholarship.
How are Applicants Selected?
Applicants are selected based on the following:
- The quality of the applicant’s essay, demonstrating clarity of thought, compelling goals, and superior communication skills in English.
- A clear connection between the applicant’s intended field of study and their career goals.
- The applicant’s potential as a leader, entrepreneur, scientist, and/or change-maker with the ability to make a positive impact in their field.
