The Young Leadership Programme Mediterranean (YLPMED) 2025 is an immersive leadership training initiative focused on Mediterranean forests and forestry. Designed for young professionals and students with diverse backgrounds, it fosters leadership skills to address forest management and climate change adaptation. The 2025 edition will take place in Croatia from May 5 to May 9, emphasizing academic, policy, and practical approaches in forestry and related fields.

Who can Apply For The European Forest Institute Young Leadership Program?
Additionally, the eligibility criteria include:
- Applicants must be young professionals aged approximately 25–35 years.
- Must have graduated within the past five years.
- Must be working in academia (e.g., PhD students), policy (e.g., civil servants), or practice (forestry or related topics).
- Demonstrated leadership experience is required, including involvement in organizations, community initiatives, or environmental advocacy.
- Priority will be given to candidates from Southeastern Europe.

- A motivation letter describing interest in forest management and climate change adaptation, career goals, and reasons for applying.
- A CV.
- A supporting letter from an employer, PhD advisor, or other reference commenting on leadership potential.
