Who can Apply For The Fully Funded King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Scholarships?

Also, applicants are to meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum TOEFL score of 79 IBT or 6.5 IELTS (KAUST admissions code: 4107). Applicants with a degree from the U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand are exempt.
  • The GRE is optional but recommended. High quantitative scores can strengthen the application (KAUST admissions code: 4139).
  • Official transcripts, including certified English translations and grading scales, must be submitted from all previous institutions. Final transcripts must be sent in an envelope to the Office of Admissions upon acceptance.
  • Three recommendation letters from professors or advisors are important, providing comparative insights into the applicant’s research abilities.
  • A current Curriculum Vitae (CV) is also necessary.
