The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, invites applications for the Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MSc-HPE) – Direct Entry Track.

This fully funded program equips Africa’s next generation of health educators and academic leaders to design, deliver, and evaluate innovative and equitable health education programs. It aims to strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions across Africa by training educators who can shape policy, lead reform, and mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be 35 years or under at the time of application (exceptions apply for persons with disabilities).
- Be citizens, residents, or refugees of an African country.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
- Have teaching, supervision, or leadership experience in health-related higher education institutions (or show clear potential).
- Provide an institutional recommendation letter confirming support and dedicated time for participation.
- Not already hold a master’s degree (for Mastercard Foundation Scholarship applicants).
