Flour Mills of Nigeria Innovation Prize 2026 is a national competition organized by Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc (FMN) to foster creativity and sustainable solutions in Nigeria’s food and agro-allied sector. The 2026 edition (FMN PFI 5.0) focuses on innovative practices in cassava production and processing, encouraging students and SMEs to develop impactful ideas that strengthen Nigeria’s food systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open to Nigerian residents aged 18 and above.
  • Category 1: Registered Nigerian SMEs in the food and agro-allied sector.
  • Category 2: Students (undergraduate and postgraduate) with innovative ideas in cassava production/processing.
  • Must be a single entry per person (multiple entries lead to disqualification).
  • Excludes FMN employees, their families, and competition organizers/judges.
  • No entry fee required.

Competition Categories & Prizes:

Category 1 – SMEs:

  • 🥇 1st Prize: ₦5,000,000
  • 🥈 2nd Prize: ₦3,000,000
  • 🥉 3rd Prize: ₦2,000,000

Category 2 – Students:

  • 🥇 1st Prize: ₦500,000
  • 🥈 2nd Prize: ₦300,000
  • 🥉 3rd Prize: ₦200,000

Total Prize Pool: ₦11.5 million
