About this Program
The Future Energy Leaders Programme is designed to inspire and empower the next generation of energy leaders. Each year, around 35 new participants join, replacing an equal number of outgoing fellows. The FEL community thrives on creativity and collaboration, helping bridge the generation gap in the energy sector.
Eligibility Criteria
- Solid interest and proven track record in energy or related fields.
- 3–5 years of junior management experience in an energy-related field.
- Advanced level of English.
- Not more than 35 years old at the time of application.
- Highly motivated and ready to engage with the World Energy Council for at least one to three years.
- Availability for at least 15 days of programme activities per year (20 days in Congress years).
- Employer validation of application.
What Fellows Receive: Access to global events, professional development, project leadership opportunities, and a diverse international network.
Program Components: Participation in Council programmes, project design and delivery, event attendance, and contribution to global energy dialogue.
