The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity offered by University College London (UCL) to support international students from low-income backgrounds. Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be eligible to pay the overseas tuition fee rate.
- Come from a low-income background (generally defined as household income of £42,875 or less, though higher incomes may still be considered).
- Have submitted an admission application for a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL for the 2026/27 academic year.
How are Applicants Selected?
- Selection is based on financial need.
- Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide financial evidence (around mid-May 2026).
- The UCL Student Funding Office will assess and allocate awards.

How Many Awards?
Up to 33 scholarships will be offered in 2026/27, including:
- 10 scholarships covering full tuition fees, maintenance allowance, and fixed allowance for additional costs (e.g., Immigration Health Surcharge and visa fees).
- 20 scholarships covering full tuition fees only.
- 3 scholarships covering full tuition fees specifically for students from India.

- Submit an admission application to UCL for a full-time undergraduate programme.
- Confirm your fee status with UCL Admissions.
- Access the scholarship application form via Portico:
- Login to Portico.
- Click ‘View’ for your active application.
- Select ‘Funding’ from the menu.
- Click ‘Check and apply’ under ‘Funds Available’.
- Select the scholarship name and complete the application form.
- Submit your application before 27 April 2026, 5pm BST.
