Dalhousie University provides scholarships and awards every year to eligible domestic and international students who want to enrol in the school.

Below is a list of scholarships, bursaries and awards that are open to International students, including both entrance and in-programme awards. Applying for the Dalhousie University Scholarships requires using the Harmonised Scholarship portal to

  • Open the FGS Scholarship Management Platform and log in.
  • Create a new scholarship application by selecting “Create New…” and “Major Scholarship Competitions” OR edit an existing one by selecting from the “My Applications” list on your homepage. 
  • Select the application category that applies to you from one of the three options provided.
  • You are encouraged to complete the self-identification questionnaire found in the online scholarship platform. 
  • Click “Save and Next” at the bottom of each page to move through the application.
  • You must upload official transcripts directly in the scholarship portal as referenced in the instructions found in the application. 
  • All reference assessments must be submitted to the portal before the application deadline.
  • Click “Save and Finalise” to finish and submit after agreeing to the terms and conditions.
