The Aziz Foundation Scholarship is a partnership-funded Master’s scholarship designed to support exceptional British Muslims who lack the financial means to pursue postgraduate education.
For the 2026/27 academic year, the scholarship supports students at the University of Sussex who demonstrate strong leadership potential, financial need, and a clear commitment to creating positive social impact within British Muslim communities.

- Full tuition fee scholarship (Partnership-funded)
Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be eligible for UK Home fee status
- Be applying for an eligible Master’s programme at the University of Sussex
- Be actively involved in a Muslim community
- Demonstrate strong understanding of issues affecting British Muslim communities
- Be Zakat-eligible or in clear financial need
- Show relevant experience or achievements in their chosen field
- Demonstrate long-term commitment to community and societal development in Britain
How are Applicants Selected?
- Shortlisting and interviews conducted by the Aziz Foundation
- Assessment based on financial need, leadership potential, community impact, sector knowledge, and motivation
- Final award subject to successful admission to the University of Sussex
