OpenAI’s AI and Mental Health Grant Program supports research proposals that explore the intersection of AI and mental health.
Grants are intended for foundational research that strengthens AI safety efforts and advances understanding of mental health support through AI. Funding Range: $5,000 to $100,000 per project, with up to $2 million available in total.
