The Airtel Africa Fellowship (Airtel Africa Tech Fellowship) is a fully funded undergraduate fellowship established by the Airtel Africa Foundation to support talented young Africans from disadvantaged backgrounds who wish to pursue higher education in STEM fields.
The programme aims to increase the proportion of African youth equipped with advanced tech skills and to shape the next generation of technology leaders across the continent.
The Foundation partners with selected public universities to support high-achieving students who secure admission into technology-related undergraduate programmes.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be newly admitted (100-level) undergraduate students
- Be enrolled in one of the 7 participating public universities.
- Have scored at least 230 in JAMB
- Have 5 O’Level credits in one sitting, including Mathematics and English.
- Demonstrate clear financial need.
- Not receiving any other scholarship/fellowship
- Provide required documents (UTME result, admission letter, passport photo, WAEC result, etc.).
How are Applicants Selected?
Selection is based on:
- Academic merit (JAMB score, O’Level results)
- Proof of financial need
- Completion and correctness of submitted documents
- Eligibility confirmation by the participating universities
- Final review by Airtel Africa Foundation
