The Dahdaleh Global Health Graduate Scholarship was created to attract exceptional incoming and continuing domestic and international graduate research students to the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research. The scholarship will be granted annually to graduate students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement in global health research.

The Dahdaleh Global Health Graduate Scholarship (DGHGS) is a prestigious York University scholarship that supports exceptional Master’s and PhD students conducting research in global health. It funds research aligned with the Dahdaleh Institute’s three core themes:
- Planetary Health
- Global Health & Humanitarianism
- Global Health Foresighting
Scholars receive annual financial support, mentorship, workspace access, and opportunities to present their research and engage with the Institute’s global health community.

Eligible applicants must belong to one of the following York University Faculties:

- Health
- Lassonde School of Engineering
- Liberal Arts & Professional Studies
- Osgoode Hall Law School
- Science
Programs must require research, not coursework-only degrees.

Who can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be entering or continuing full-time Master’s or PhD studies
- Be in a 1-year or 2-year Master’s program, or in Years 1–3 of a PhD
- Plan to conduct global health research aligned with the Dahdaleh Institute’s thematic areas
- Demonstrate academic excellence and strong research potential
PhD students in Year 4+ are not eligible.
Coursework-only Master’s programs are not eligible.

Master’s Students:

PhD Students:
