The GOALS International Masters Scholarship (Erasmus Mundus) is a fully funded two-year program covering:
- Tuition fees
- Travel and visa costs
- €1,400/month living stipend for 18 months (totaling €25,200)
- Participation fee waiver
- Coverage of accommodation, insurance, and other living costs
The program prepares students for careers in sport management, leisure governance, and related professional fields. It is jointly offered by:
- University of Lille, France
- University of Lisbon, Portugal
- Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania
- Nicolaus Copernicus University, Poland
- International University of Health, Exercise & Sports – LUNEX, Luxembourg
Which Fields are Eligible?
Applicants should have a scientific background in:
- Sport Management: sport sociology, sport marketing, sport communication, sport finances, sport economics, sport event management
- Management / Business Administration: sociology, marketing, communication, finances, economics, event management
- Sport Studies: physical education, sport coaching, fitness, sport and wellness

Who Can Apply?
- Candidates from any country in the world
- Holders of a Higher Education undergraduate degree (Bachelor, Licence, or equivalent) in the fields listed above
- Students in the final year of their undergraduate degree may apply with proof of registration; a degree certificate must be provided by 30th August if selected
- Non-English native speakers must demonstrate English proficiency (B2 CEFR or equivalent):
- IELTS 6.0–6.5
- TOEFL iBT 88
- Cambridge First or Advanced
- Or 2 years full-time study in English
How are Applicants Selected?
- Online Application: Submit all required documents via the application portal.
- Shortlist & Interview: Shortlisted applicants undergo a 20-minute online interview assessing motivation, critical thinking, and understanding of social work and sport management.
- Final Selection: Applications are scored (50% paper, 50% interview). Top ~50 candidates are offered:
- Erasmus Mundus scholarship or
- Self-funded enrollment
