Application Deadline: 8th December 2025
About the Award: The U.S. Mission Nigeria invites young creators across Nigeria to participate in the Made in America, Loved in Nigeria Social Media Skit Contest – a nationwide search for the most creative, inspiring, or humorous skits showcasing how American products, brands, technology, tools, or ideas enrich everyday life in Nigeria.
Contest Overview
The Made in America, Loved in Nigeria campaign is a dynamic social media skit challenge designed to highlight the positive influence of U.S. products and innovation on Nigerian communities. The contest seeks to engage Nigeria’s vibrant creator community – youth aged 18 to 45 – and celebrates how American innovations support business growth, spark creativity, solve challenges, and inspire everyday life in Nigeria.
Participants are invited to create a short vertical video skit (maximum 90 seconds) that humorously, dramatically, or inspirationally portrays this theme. This initiative strengthens U.S.-Nigeria trade relations, amplifies Nigerian creative talent, and fosters stronger cultural and economic ties between both nations.
