The University of Leicester is delighted to offer 150 tuition fee waivers over the next five years to international undergraduate students. This begins with 30 tuition fee waivers available for applicants starting in September 2026.

This is the first phase of a larger 5-year plan to award 150 tuition fee waivers to exceptional global learners. The scholarship covers full tuition fees for up to three years but does not include living costs or accommodation.

Applicants must submit a 2-minute video addressing specific questions, which will form a central part of the evaluation process.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be international fee-paying students
  • Be starting a full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Leicester (Year 1, 2, or 3)

  • Make Leicester their firm choice by 30 June 2026
  • Meet all offer conditions by 20 August 2026
  • Achieve grades equivalent to two levels above the standard A-level entry requirement
  • Submit a video application (max 2 minutes)
