The Erasmus Mundus Imaging Scholarship is a fully funded Erasmus+ program supported by the European Union. It covers:

  • Tuition fees for the Master’s program
  • Participation costs and medical insurance
  • €1,400 monthly living allowance for up to 24 months
  • Contribution to travel and installation costs

Around 15 scholarships are offered per year.

Which Fields are Eligible?

  • Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Imaging
  • Relevant bachelor’s background in ICT, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • At least 30 ECTS in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics (including probability, statistics, linear algebra)
  • At least 60 ECTS in Computer Engineering (including object-oriented programming and either databases or signal & image processing)

  • Fully funded scholarship for postgraduate/Master’s students

  • Students from all countries
  • Must meet the academic and English language requirements (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, or English as the medium of instruction)
  • Students in their final year of undergraduate studies may apply with conditional acceptance
  • Applicants cannot have previously benefited from another EMJM scholarship

  1. Apply to the EMJM in Imaging Consortium via the online portal during the application period
  2. Upload required documents:

    • Bachelor’s diplomas and transcripts (original + English translation, PDF)
    • Recommendation letter (PDF)

  3. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted to also apply to Politecnico di Milano (deadline: 26th February 2026 for first round)
  4. Selection is based on:
    • Academic excellence & CV

    • Recommendation letters
  5. Applicants are ranked numerically; Main List, Reserve List, and Non-Selected List are approved by European Commission
  6. Selected students receive official admission letters via email and must sign a student agreement
