The High Fliers Undergraduate Scholarships for Türkiye provide financial support of £5,000–£10,000 toward first-year tuition fees for outstanding students domiciled in Türkiye who wish to study a full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham’s UK campus starting September 2026.
The scholarship supports academically excellent students and encourages them to engage in university marketing activities such as testimonials, student visits, videos, and blogging.

  • Applicants to Medicine, Dentistry, or foundation programmes
  • Students sponsored by the Turkish Embassy, government bodies, or full external funders

What is the value of the award?

The scholarship is for between £5,000 and £10,000 towards tuition fees (for the first year only) of a full-time Undergraduate degree programme at the University of Birmingham, UK campus, starting September 2026.

Can this scholarship be combined with other scholarships?

This scholarship can be held in conjunction with scholarships issued by other University of Birmingham departments, the terms and conditions of both scholarships permitting, but not with any full University of Birmingham scholarship or any partial or full external scholarship.  

Students seeking or who have secured sponsorship from or via the Turkish Embassy, i.e. Ministries, Government, or external organisations will not be eligible for this scholarship.
