The DLA Piper Global Scholarship Program is a fully funded two-year initiative designed to support outstanding law students from developing countries. The programme aims to empower future legal leaders who will contribute to the rule of law and justice in their communities. Selected scholars (“Fellows”) receive full tuition funding, internships, mentoring, professional development training, and global networking opportunities. The scholarship is not a recruitment tool but a development-focused programme that helps students grow academically, professionally, and personally.

Who can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be studying law in their last or second-to-last year in their home country; OR
- Have completed a Law degree and been accepted into a Master’s programme in a law-related field in their home country
- Be achieving or expected to achieve a first-class degree or be in the top 10% of their class
- Provide a university recommendation
- Be a citizen of the country they are applying from
- Have a strong command of spoken and written English
