The AKISAN Scholarship Program supports academic excellence for Akwa Ibom indigenes. Awards are available for students studying in the U.S. and Nigeria.

All programmes offered at recognised Nigerian or U.S. tertiary institutions are eligible.

Who can Apply?
- Indigenes of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
- Enrolled as undergraduate students in recognised tertiary institutions in Nigeria or the U.S.
- For U.S. students: maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- For Nigerian students: enrolled in Nigerian universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education; minimum GPA of 2.5 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (first-year high school)
How are Applicants Selected?
Selection is based on academic merit, submission of required documents (transcripts, certificate of origin, and WASSCE/NECO results for first-year students), and eligibility criteria.

- USA (for Akwa Ibom students studying in U.S. institutions)
