The GREAT – Imperial College London Scholarship 2026/27 is a prestigious award jointly funded by Imperial College London and the British Council’s GREAT Scholarships programme.
It offers outstanding students from France, Egypt, Ghana, and Nigeria the opportunity to pursue a one-year full-time master’s degree at one of the world’s top research universities.
Each successful scholar will receive £15,000 towards tuition fees, access to a global alumni network, and the prestige of being part of the internationally recognised GREAT Scholars community.

Applicants must:
- Hold a valid passport and be a resident of France, Egypt, Ghana, or Nigeria (only eligible countries).
- Be classified as Overseas (International) for fee purposes.
- Apply for a one-year, full-time, on-campus master’s course at Imperial College London.
- Receive an offer of admission by 13 March 2026.
- Meet Imperial’s English language requirements by 30 June 2026.
You are not eligible if:
- You are applying for an online/distance learning programme.
- Your programme duration is longer than one year.
- You are a continuing student.

Selection is a two-stage process:
- Apply for Admission – Submit your master’s application by 7 January 2026 and receive an offer by 13 March 2026.
- Invitation to Apply – Eligible applicants will be invited via email (week of 13 April 2026) to complete the GREAT Scholarship application form.
Final results will be communicated by 30 June 2026.
