In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Robert Gordon University (RGU) is offering two (2) prestigious scholarships for the 2026 intake.

The GREAT Scholarships programme—launched by the British Council alongside 60 UK universities—aims to support academically outstanding students from around the world to access world-class UK higher education.

Each scholarship provides financial assistance of £10,000 toward tuition fees for one year of postgraduate study at RGU in Scotland, United Kingdom.

Beyond funding, recipients become ambassadors for both RGU and the GREAT brand, representing UK higher education and sharing their study experiences with prospective students globally.

All full-time, on-campus postgraduate courses offered at Robert Gordon University are eligible under this award.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be citizens of Pakistan or Indonesia.
  • Hold an undergraduate degree qualifying them for postgraduate admission in the UK.
  • Have met all admission conditions (except deposit payment) by the scholarship deadline.
  • Be motivated and academically capable of benefiting from a UK postgraduate taught course.
  • Meet the English language requirements of RGU.
  • Be self-funding (not sponsored by another organization).
  • Be active in their field—either through work experience or demonstrated interest.
  • Be willing to act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education and the GREAT brand.
  • Attend the GREAT Scholars networking event in the UK.

How Are Applicants Selected?

Selection is based on academic merit, motivation, leadership potential, and the applicant’s commitment to engaging with the UK Higher Education community both during and after their studies.
Applicants must already hold an offer of admission from RGU before applying for the scholarship.
