Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree (completed within the last 6 years).
- Have above-average academic records.
- Not already hold a Master’s degree.
- Demonstrate language proficiency (minimum B1) in German or English, depending on the course language.
- Not have resided in Germany for more than 15 months at the time of application.
- Meet the admission requirements of their chosen German university program.

What is the Benefit of the Award?
The scholarship provides:
- €992 monthly stipend for living expenses.
- Health, accident, and personal liability insurance.
- Travel allowance to and from Germany.
- Annual study allowance of €460.
- Possible rent subsidy and family allowance.
- Special support for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
- Free German language courses (online or in-person) and reimbursement of TestDaF/DSH fees.
How Long Will the Award Last?
Funding duration: 10 to 24 months, depending on the standard period of study of the chosen Master’s program. Continuation after the first year is based on satisfactory academic performance.
