The traineeship welcomes applicants from all disciplines — including journalism, communication, law, economics, science, and technology/IT — who are passionate about media, storytelling, and global reporting.

  • Be native speakers of one of DW’s broadcast languages with excellent English and good German skills, or vice versa.

  • Be able to work well under pressure and within a team.
