The Maastricht University (UM) Global Studies Undergraduate Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for outstanding students from the Global South. It covers tuition, visa, health insurance, pre-academic training, and €15,925 per year in living expenses. The scholarship is linked to the Global Studies bachelor programme, which trains students to tackle complex global challenges through an interdisciplinary and international approach.

Who Can Apply?
✔ Applicants must:
- Hold the nationality of a country in the Global South (Africa, Asia including the Middle East, Latin America, Caribbean – OECD eligible list).
- Not have dual nationality from the Global North.
- Be under 35 years old by September 1, 2026.
- Have applied for admission to the Global Studies bachelor’s programme at UM for 2026–2027.
- Not hold a previous higher education degree equivalent to a bachelor.
- Agree to become an active UM Global Studies ambassador during and after studies.
